KIET evaluates student performance through percentage marks converted into letter grades. These grades are used to calculate grade points and quality points. GPA is calculated by dividing total quality points earned by total credit hours attempted.

GPA at PAF-KIET measures academic performance for one semester. Each course carries credit hours and each grade corresponds to specific grade points.

Step 1: List all subjects taken during the semester with credit hours.

A minimum of 50% is required to pass any course at KIET. Below 50% results in F grade (0.00 GP) and the course must be repeated.

Example: Grade A (4.00 GP) in a 3-credit course = 12.00 quality points.
